Transair Profitable air piping systems for mechanical contractors

The Concept:

  • Transair was designed to simplify the installation and modification of compressed air pipe systems
  • Transair readily adapts to changes in manufacturing, reducing costly production downtime.
  • Transair greatly simplifies the installation of compressed air pipe systems resulting in tremendous total savings.
  • Transair and its energy efficient and bubble-tight design lowers operating costs by lowering pressure drops and leaks.

The System:

With the Transair System, installation of pipes for compressed air becomes a quick and easy operation. All components have a quick assembly connection without the need for lengthy pipe preparation. The system is quick to install and ready for immediate use. Simply push the pipe into the fitting. The connection and seal are instantly made.

The Components:

  • Calibrated Aluminum Pipe: Specially designed for compressed air systems. Provides clean air and high flow. Easy to work with; clean, light and robust.
  • Instant-connect fittings: To install, push pipe into fitting; the connection and seal are secured. To disconnect, unscrew nut 1/4 of a turn. Immediately disconnected, the pipe can be pulled out easily, or to remove the pipe laterally from the system, unscrew nut completely. The fittings attach and seal on the outside diameter of the pipe, utilizing the full bore of the inside diameter for airflow.
  • Pipe clip: Fixes the aluminum pipe by an instant clipping system.
  • Quick Assembly Brackets: Adding horizontal branch lines or vertical drops can simply be done without cutting the pipe. Just drill the pipe and screw the bracket into place. An upward loop (swan neck) has been integrated to impede condensation transfer.
  • Ball Valves: Easily integrated into the pipe system by instant connection, it ensures immediate air shut-off. Air pilot actuated valves are also available for remote operation.
  • Flexible Hose: Adapts to all building layouts and absorbs the thermal expansion effects in the installation.

Benefits:

  • Installation time: Transair installs several times faster than copper or steel piping systems. Transair permits a time pressed mechanical contractor to finish an air-piping job early. Mechanical contractors who use Transair̉ have a higher job turnover rate.
  • Simplicity: Because Transair is so easy to install, a MC can use less experienced (and cheaper) labor to do the installation saving more experienced pipe fitters for the tough process-piping jobs.
  • No Special Tools Required: Transair does not require expensive and bulky threading tools or soldering equipment. A pair of hands, a screwdriver, a pipe cutter and a drill is all that is needed for installation.
  • Predictable Profit Margin: With Transair , your job profits are based mainly on fixed product margin (high gross margin), not on volatile and difficult to estimate labor costs.
  • High Profitability: A mechanical contractor may double his profit per job using Transair.
